Some places take time to return to, like 'Hjärtat' (heart), a frozen waterfall a few kilometres from Kebnekaise mountain station. I first saw it in 2018 and it really stuck with me. Two years later I'm back and finally made my way out there. Emil and Olle did all the climbing as I photographed their progress. The guys managed to complete the 60m waterfall without issue and it was impressive to watch. Despite standing at the base of the heart, it was difficult to get an accurate sense of the ice pillar’s immensity...that's why it was perfect to have the guys climb it and provide a reference point for scale!
